Printer Jam

You are the little gnome that makes the printer work. You can't stop moving and you have to smash ants inside the printer that are making it malfunction. While you crush the ants, you collect ink needed to print the image shown on the right side of the screen.

How to Play?

Move with WASD
Dash with Space bar

Game Mechanics

You control a gnome with an ink cartridge that automatically prints colors every 5 seconds. The first color in your cartridge queue gets printed onto the paper, and your goal is to replicate the reference image displayed on the right side of the screen.

To succeed, you must:

  • Crush ants to collect specific ink colors
  • Manage your ink cartridge inventory
  • Match the reference pattern by collecting colors in the right sequence
  • Keep moving constantly - the gnome never stops!

Micro Jam #43 Theme Implementation

Colors: The core gameplay revolves around collecting and managing different colored inks. Each ant you crush drops specific colors that fill your cartridge, and the printing system creates colorful patterns on paper.

Player Can't Stop Moving: The gnome is perpetually in motion - you can only change direction and dash, but never stop moving. This creates a frantic, skill-based gameplay where planning your route and timing become crucial.
